Join Heartwood Kitchens & Millwork (HKM) as a Custom Cabinet Designer and help bring distinctive kitchens, bathrooms, and built-ins to life. At HKM, part of Sacred Oak Homes, you'll collaborate with homeowners, contractors, and architects to design custom cabinetry that marries function and artistry.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with clients and project stakeholders to develop cabinetry layouts and design concepts.
  • Create design plans and renderings using 2020 Design or AutoCAD.
  • Attend on-site meetings to gather measurements and project specifications.
  • Offer product knowledge on Wellborn, Samara, and HKM custom cabinetry lines.
  • Prepare detailed quotes and coordinate closely with project and shop managers for execution.
  • Maintain organized design documentation and participate in weekly project updates.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in custom cabinetry or interior design (residential preferred).
  • Proficiency in 2020 Design, AutoCAD, or similar software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to translate client vision into design.
  • Professional, client-focused approach and collaborative mindset.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally within 30 miles of Stockbridge, MA.
  • Bonus skill: Create shop drawings for cabinetry and millwork construction.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $40,000/year + uncapped commission (On-Target Earnings details shared during hiring process)
