Sacred Oak Homes has been building and remodeling homes and businesses throughout the Berkshires and surrounding areas since 1990. We're looking for an Apprentice Carpenter to join our team to deliver the best quality and service possible. 

As an Apprentice Carpenter at Sacred Oak you will play a crucial role in helping our team create and install custom carpentry solutions. You will work closely with our experienced carpenters to learn and grow in your skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include the following.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures, fixtures, and furniture.
• Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other construction materials.
• Operate hand and power tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
• Follow blueprints, sketches, or oral instructions to execute projects.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Continuously learn and develop carpentry skills under the guidance of senior carpenters.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in carpentry is a plus but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety procedures and guidelines.
